Irish Capel Foundation Restores Financial Support for Families with Children Suffering from Cancer
The Irish Capel Foundation has restored financial support to families with children suffering from cancer, including those living in Donegal. The organization reversed a previous decision to cut aid, which affected 200 families across the country.
The Irish Capel Foundation expressed apologies for the disruption caused by the decision. The financial assistance, which ranged from €500 to €1000, was provided to families to pay for accommodation in Dublin during their children's treatment.
"We deeply regret and apologize for the upset caused by our decision," the organization said in a statement. The Irish Capel Foundation hopes that the restoration of financial support to over 200 children and their families who face cancer each year will help alleviate their suffering.
