Dubliners are changing their usual ideas about nightlife. According to night economy advisor Ray O'Donoghue, city residents are increasingly abandoning the traditional visits to bars and clubs, instead exploring new opportunities for leisure activities.

The interactive map "Dublin Nights Mapped", which has already received over 250,000 interactions, shows a growing interest in cultural, social and gastronomic establishments that operate late. Dubliners are actively using the map to find alternative entertainment.

Whether such a transformation of Dublin's nightlife will increase its tourist attractiveness remains an open question.
