Berezhany: Trial of the organizer of transportation for 13,5 thousand euros, up to 9 years

The Ternopil Regional Prosecutor's Office has submitted to the court an indictment against a resident of the city of Berezhany, who is accused of organizing the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine. The amount he demanded for his services was 13,5 thousand euros.

According to the investigation, the accused promised his acquaintance assistance in traveling to the countries of the European Union for a certain fee.

Law enforcement officers detained the man after he demanded 1,5 thousand euros as an advance for the start of organizing the transportation.

The accused faces imprisonment for a term of up to 9 years.
