Denmark Allocates Nearly €600 Million in Military Aid to Ukraine with 30th Package
Denmark approved its 30th military aid package for Ukraine, worth nearly €600 million. It includes weapons, ammunition, equipment, and training. A portion of the funds will finance purchases from Ukraine's defense industry.
The Danish government has approved its 30th military aid package for Ukraine, totaling approximately €590 million (about 4.4 billion DKK). This package includes the supply of weapons, ammunition, equipment, and support for the training of Ukrainian military personnel.
Danish Minister of Defense Jeppe Bruus stated that Ukraine's fight for freedom is also Europe's fight. Approximately 1.3 billion DKK from the package is allocated to the «Danish model,» which enables financing purchases from the Ukrainian defense industry. Additional funds have also been allocated for long-range artillery ammunition.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen emphasized the need to maintain support for Ukraine. Since 2022, Denmark has provided Ukraine with military aid totaling approximately 76.8 billion DKK (over €10 billion). Bruus recently visited Kyiv, where he discussed the Dron Deal and new aid with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the creation of a joint anti-ballistic system with Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov.
