Russian Attack on Zaporizhzhia Railway April 22: Assistant Train Driver Killed
On April 22, Russian forces attacked the «Zaporizhzhia-Live» railway station. An assistant train driver was killed in the strike, and the train driver was hospitalized. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba confirmed the information.
On the morning of April 22, Russian occupying forces launched an attack on the shunting yard of the «Zaporizhzhia-Live» railway station. As a result of the strike, an assistant train driver was killed.
This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba on his Telegram channel. According to him, an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle attacked the station overnight. At the moment of the strike, a train with an electric locomotive was on the tracks. The assistant train driver sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot.
The train driver was hospitalized. Earlier, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported one person killed and one injured as a result of a Russian strike on the transport infrastructure of the Zaporizhzhia region.
