Президент України Володимир Зеленський прибув до Брюсселя 17 червня для участі в саміті ЄС 18-19 червня. Він обговорив підсумки саміту G7 з президентом Фінляндії. Прибуття підтверджено сервісами відстеження та соцмережами.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Brussels on the evening of June 17, where the European Union summit will take place on June 18-19. Information about his arrival was confirmed by flight tracking service AirNavradar data and Zelenskyy's own social media posts.

According to AirNavradar, the Ukrainian president's plane departed from Geneva, where the Group of Seven summit had previously been held, around 19:00 local time on June 17. An hour and a half later, the aircraft landed at Melsbroek Air Base near Brussels.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed his presence in Brussels via his social media and stated that during the flight, he discussed the outcomes of the G7 summit with the President of Finland. Earlier, US President Donald Trump, after the G7 summit, spoke of «very good conversations» with Presidents Putin and Zelenskyy, noting that both leaders wished to end the war but «did not know how».

Trump also indicated that he was considering reinstating sanctions against Russian oil after a temporary exemption introduced by the US amid high global energy prices due to the conflict with Iran. Furthermore, the American president promised to review Ukraine's request for air defense system licenses.
