General Staff: 194 Combat Engagements on Frontline on April 21, 43 in Pokrovsk Direction

Since the beginning of April 21, 194 combat engagements have been recorded on the frontline. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00, the highest activity was observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where 43 battles took place.

The enemy launched 50 air strikes, dropping 159 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy used 3982 kamikaze drones and carried out 2112 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops.

In the Northern Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Russian forces launched four air strikes using nine guided aerial bombs, and also carried out 88 shellings of positions and settlements, three of which were from multiple rocket launch systems. In the Southern Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked twice, while in the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven assaults by the occupiers. In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance twice, while in the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked seven times.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the occupiers stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders 25 times. In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 43 attacks, where, according to preliminary estimates, 97 occupiers were eliminated and 27 wounded. In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers attacked 12 times, in the Huliaipole direction – 11 Russian attacks were recorded, in the Orikhiv direction – the enemy attacked five times, and in the Prydniprovsk direction, the enemy conducted four assault actions.
