In the city of Biała Podlaska, Lublin Voivodeship, on June 17, 44-year-old Russian artist Semyon Skrepetsky, whose real name is Robert Kuzovkov, was killed. According to local police, at approximately 10:00 AM, an assailant shot the man several times with a firearm on Queen Jadwiga Street, near the Belarusian consulate, and then fled. The wounded man died at the scene.

Law enforcement agencies are conducting a large-scale operation to find the suspect, including setting up roadblocks and checking vehicles. The main focus is on reconstructing the assailant's appearance based on eyewitness testimonies and CCTV footage. Police officially confirmed that the deceased is a 44-year-old Russian citizen who was shot in a parking lot near one of the city's residential complexes.

TV channel wPolsce24 reported that the killer fired several shots at the artist from close range, and doctors were unable to save Skrepetsky. Following the incident, police cordoned off streets and exits from the city, and also secured schools and kindergartens where the victim's children might have been.

Semyon Skrepetsky, a native of Altai, was known for his caricatures of politicians, including ironic portraits of Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenka, Ramzan Kadyrov, and Alexei Navalny. He also criticized the Ukrainian authorities and was listed in the Ukrainian «Myrotvorets» database. His last public action took place on June 12 near the Russian embassy in Berlin, where he held a solo picket, displaying an «icon» depicting Stalin holding a young Putin, and threw the Russian flag into a trash can.
