Syrskyi Suspends Heads of Odesa Regional and Peresypskyi TCCs After Military Detentions

The decision follows the SBU's detention of military personnel from notification groups in Odesa on April 21 on suspicion of bribery. An official investigation has been launched.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has suspended the head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SP) and the head of the Peresypskyi District TCC from their official duties. This decision follows the detention of military personnel from notification groups in Odesa.
According to the press service of the Ground Forces Command, an official investigation has been launched within the Armed Forces of Ukraine in connection with the detention of military personnel from the Peresypskyi District TCC and SP notification groups by employees of the Internal Security Department of the Security Service of Ukraine. The head of the Main Directorate of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been instructed to conduct an official investigation into this incident.
It is reported that on Tuesday, April 21, in Odesa, the Security Service of Ukraine detained military personnel from one of the district territorial centers for recruitment and social support, who were exposed for bribery. The Odesa Regional TCC and SP confirmed the detention. According to the «Dumska» publication, the detention of TCC employees on Balkivska Street involved a chase and gunfire.
