Ukraine Doubles Deep Strikes; Drones Hit 5 Azov Vessels, Kill 5; US Passes Aid

Ukraine has intensified deep strikes, targeting Russian logistics, and its drones hit five vessels in Azov ports, killing five. The US House passed significant aid for Ukraine, including sanctions. Germany's Quantum Systems established a major base in Ukraine for drone production, while Russia unveiled new counter-drone systems.

Ukraine has doubled its deep strikes beyond 50 km, focusing on Russia's transport nodes and logistics chains to disrupt supply and degrade frontline operations. Overnight, Ukrainian drones hit five vessels in occupied Azov ports, resulting in five Azerbaijani nationals' deaths, which Russia blames on Kyiv. Unmanned Systems Forces commander Robert «Madyar» Brovdi stated these were smugglers carrying looted grain, fuel, and military supplies with obscured identities.

Ukrainian forces claim «fire control» over the occupied Donetsk Airport, rendering it unusable for Russian military operations. A drone strike ignited a fire at an oil depot in occupied Luhansk, identified as a fuel supply point for Russian forces. Russia has banned military uniforms for fuel drivers after Ukrainian strikes burned tankers, leading to deliveries in bread vans and ambulances. Civilian fuel rationing has been observed in Crimea, Kursk, and Belgorod oblasts since spring.

In international developments, the US House passed Ukraine aid, including over $1 billion in direct aid, up to $8 billion in loans, and sanctions on Russian oil, banking, and mining sectors. NATO fighters intercepted six Russian military aircraft over the Baltic Sea in one day. A marine drone exploded at a Romanian port, with the defense ministry suspecting Ukrainian origin. Ukraine also conducted a major prisoner swap, with 186 Ukrainians returning home.

Germany's Quantum Systems has made Ukraine its second-largest international base for building drones, ground robots, and software. Ukraine's Bullet interceptor received a speed upgrade with a chemical accelerator to chase 500 km/h Geran-4 drones. Russia unveiled two counter-drone systems, Sokol-I and Hornet, though defense analysts question their effectiveness. Russia has also reportedly engineered a missile with submunitions that detonate 20-30 minutes after impact, targeting first responders.
