On April 19, an incident occurred in the village of Arkhangelske, Kherson region, during which a 43-year-old local resident threw a grenade at a group of construction workers. The event unfolded after a conflict between the man and his foreman. This was reported by the police.

According to law enforcement, a team of construction workers was performing repairs in the village council building and had hired the 43-year-old local resident as a helper. According to the workers, the helper, while intoxicated, poorly performed his assigned task and was supposed to redo it. The detainee stated that he found the grenade in 2023 in his home after returning from serving a sentence for a previous crime. He has been notified of suspicion of attempted murder of two or more persons, committed in a manner dangerous to the lives of many, and illegal storage of ammunition.
