Budrys: Lithuania sympathizes with Kyiv over the April 18 terrorist attack, six dead
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys expressed his condolences to Kyiv in connection with the April 18 terrorist attack in the Holosiivskyi district. According to "Ukrainska Pravda", the shooting was carried out by Vasylchenkov Dmytro Vasyliovych, born on 21.04.1968, a citizen of Ukraine, who was killed during a special operation.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys expressed his condolences to the residents of Kyiv in connection with the deadly terrorist attack that occurred on April 18 in the Holosiivskyi district. He announced this on social network X, emphasizing Lithuania's solidarity with Ukraine and stressing that "there is no justification for such violence".
Budrys expressed his sincere condolences to the residents of Kyiv in connection with the horrific shooting that claimed the lives of at least six people and resulted in numerous injuries. The head of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed condolences in connection with the terrorist attack.
According to "Ukrainska Pravda", the man who committed the deadly shooting was Vasylchenkov Dmytro Vasyliovych, born on 21.04.1968. He was born in Moscow, but had Ukrainian citizenship. He previously lived in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, and later in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko reported that the terrorist used a registered weapon. After the shooting, the police conducted a special operation to detain the criminal, as a result of which Vasylchenkov was killed.
