April 19, RF attacked with 236 UAVs (150 Shahed), 203 shot down — Air Force
On the night of April 19, Russia attacked Ukraine with 236 UAVs, including Shahed. Air defense forces shot down 203 drones in the northern, southern and eastern regions. 32 hits and debris falls were recorded at 26 locations, the attack is ongoing.
On the night of April 19, Russian troops launched a massive attack using 236 strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of various types, including Shahed, "Gerbera", "Italmas" and others. According to preliminary data, about 150 of them were of the Shahed type. This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of 8:00 a.m., 203 enemy UAVs of these types were shot down and suppressed by air defense forces in the northern, southern and eastern regions of the country. Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, radio-electronic warfare (EW) units and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, were involved in repelling the air attack.
32 strike UAV hits were recorded at 18 different locations. In addition, debris from downed drones fell on 8 locations.
At the time of publication, the attack is ongoing, and enemy UAVs are still in the airspace of Ukraine.
