Since April 17, Air Defense Shot Down 190 of 219 Russian Shahed and Other Drones
Since the evening of April 17, Russian occupiers have attacked Ukraine with 219 drones of various types. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian air defense shot down 190 enemy drones in the northern, southern, and eastern regions. 28 UAV hits were recorded at 17 locations.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense destroyed or suppressed 190 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and other types in the north, south and east of the country. 28 strike UAV hits were recorded at 17 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at 9 locations.
On the night of April 18 (from 18:00 on April 17), the enemy attacked with 219 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas type and drones of other types from the directions: Shatalovo, Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Chauda – TOT AR Crimea. More than 1150 of them were Shahed-type strike drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces. The enemy drone attack continues, several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
